Arangetram

Arangetram, Tamil portmanteau of words arangu (means stage), aetram (means ascend), marks the debut performance of a dancer after years of dedicated training in Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, Odissi, or Mohiniyattam. It represents the dancer's readiness to share their talent with the world, showcasing mastery over intricate footwork, expressive gestures, and emotive storytelling.

Bharatanatyam

Bharatanatyam is one of the most popular and widely practiced classical dance styles of India, with sculptural evidence dating back nearly 3000 years. A highly spiritual and dedicatory dance form, Bharatanatyam‘s roots go back to the Hindu temples of Tamil Nadu, in South India.
